"Great service, prices, food quality and “great people” to get to know."
"I ordered a hamburger and wings with a peanut butter pie."
"My husband and I just had the best steak night Friday night at Slim's."
5 Slim's Neighborhood Bar & Grill in Spring Valley Highly Recommended! Omelet was the best, large portions at a reasonable price. Dinner pizza, burgers, and specials are great at this relaxing local community restaurant. SLIM'S IS A MUST TRY!
4 My last review of Slim's was less than complimentary. However, I reluctantly agreed to return to the restaurant, and I'm happy to now say they have greatly improved. The burgers and onion rings were absolutely delicious, plus the portion size was right on. The staff is by far the best you could hope to find
5 Loved our experience at slims! I went with the chefs recommendation on burger. I was not disappointed, tasted like I grilled out at home. They get their meat from a local market. The Chili cheese fries were fantastic as well, home cut fries ! Extra bonus.. patio is dog friendly and staff was giving my German shepherd all the love!
5 Lauren is only there on Thursdays, but is an absolute angel. She is the perfect therapist, mixologist. She is a proponent of all Kwancasians and makes it feel like home. Try the Lauren Besto Omelette. It’s a banger!
5 We drove an hour to visit this restaurant, mostly because of the name (which is my Dads name-at least what he goes by) and it was his 88th bday. Ended up the food was great. In our group we had Mushroom burger, chicken fingers and wings, tenderloin, and a Reuben. All delicious. Best part our waitress was amazing and sweet and was so kind my parents (ages 86 and 88)And we went home with 3 tshirts we bought with the name Slim’s on it!
5 I have been in a few times! Definitely a 5 star place! The bartender and waitresses were great! The food and drinks were great! A lot of regulars which tells you all you need to know. Keno, Queen of Hearts, Video poker, and plenty of seating! Give it a shot if you're in the area!
5 We stopped for a later lunch (1:30) and ordered the cabbage roll soup ($5.79), special burger of the day with onion rings ($10.99), a Reuben with onion rings (10.95) and a couple of drafts ($2.75). The soup, burger and Reuben were very tasty. The onion rings were plentiful and delicious! Heather was personable and attentive. It was a great time to visit as it was not very busy.
4 Very good burger and grilled chicken wrap. Great service by Jess. $6.29 4 oz burger includes any side. $1.79 soft drinks with free refills. Get 6 oz burger so can taste more of the meat. Onion rings good but could have been warmer. Bar and main dining area in separate rooms. Limited seating. Free street parking.
The burgers, omelets, and chili cheese fries are highly recommended, with local specialty meats and large portions that satisfy most appetites.
You can stop by for a quick bite at the bar or enjoy a more relaxed sit-down meal with friends or family in their cozy dining area.
Evenings are great for enjoying happy hour specials and live performances, creating a lively, welcoming atmosphere.
